Super Saturday @ Musical Minds! Free event including 0-5 music classes & kid friendly performers on Saturday 28th October!

Musical Minds is thrilled to be apart of Super Saturday The Eighty-Six , the festival’s marquee event with 40+ curators taking over 40+ venues along High Street from Westgarth to Preston.

Kicking off in the early A.M. and running through to sunrise, Super Saturday is a musical journey through a variety of venues. Whether you are a yiayia, a toddler, a raver or a rocker, Super Saturday is for you – it’s a proud showcase of Melbourne’s multifaceted music scene. At Musical Minds Super Saturday, we will be offering several of our musical classes & a host of family friendly performers, some of whom might be familiar to you if you’ve visited Musical Minds before! As part of Super Saturday everything is free, classes will require a booking through Musical Minds due to our limited numbers.

Come and jam around the piano with the music teachers from Musical Minds. Led by the amazing Andy Donald

3:00pm – Lady Blues
An electric mix of playful jazz and blues, taking a trip back to the 1940s. Courtney Severini on piano and vocals & Tanya Bethune on trumpet, flugelhorn and vocals perform a mix of Jazz and Blues. From Archie Bleyer to Pink Martini.

3:45pm – Youth Performers from Madeline Music School

Join Andy Donald on piano and vocals, Tanya Bethune on trumpet and vocals and special guests for a relaxing afternoon of soulful jazz classics.

6:00pm – Elyse Bordeaux
Aussie pop-punk singer Elyse plays across Melbourne both solo & with her Bordeaux band, playing original nostalgic songs or vibey head banging covers.
